Somewhere out there tonight, past our shiny little moon, we’re learning new things about another world. I’ve always been a little fascinated with Mars; I don’t think you can grow up reading science fiction and not be captivated by it. Something about it reaches out and grabs us, from the ancient Greeks to Percival Lowell, from Edgar Rice Burroughs to The West Wing. No other planet features so heavily in our mythos. Intriguing, isn’t it?
